The Doodle Hub

What a strange time we now find ourselves in! The arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic means we find ourselves separated from our loved ones and unable to attend social events. My heart goes out to anyone effected by this terrible virus. I’ve been amazed by the fantastic efforts of our NHS heroes and all the other key workers keeping the UK going at the moment.

As a small business owner it’s a worrying time and I was devastated to have to cancel my Easter doodle workshop but know that safety is paramount for everyone at the moment. With schools closing and parents being forced to work from home AND home-school their children, I just knew I wanted to step up and help in some way…..enter… ‘The Doodle Hub’ lock-down art club!

I’ve had such an AMAZING response to the tutorials and it’s been wonderful to see so many children and adults getting involved with the doodle props in the group each week over lock-down. Each week I’ve shared a new theme and the videos and resource sheets can be found to go back to in the ‘units’ section of the Facebook group. I truly hope you find the resources useful and that they help both you and your children over lock-down. Creativity can have huge mental health and well-being benefits for everyone so…. get doodling!
