Doodling For Bone Cancer

I attended a fundraising event over the summer to raise money for Bone Cancer Research in memory of a special boy who my son went to primary school with.  Jude Anderton sadly lost his battle with bone cancer when he was just 11 years old and since his death his friends and family have raised over £150,000. You can read more about his story here on the Bone Cancer Research website.

The event was a fabulous street party on the road where Jude’s family live. The sun was shining and everyone pulled together to make the day a great success. There was food, music, games and laughter. My table was visited by lots of lovely children throughout the course of the day and it was nice to have something fun and creative on offer.

The event was a HUGE success raising thousands of pounds for Bone Cancer Research. Well done to everyone involved and a big thank you to my happy doodlers who created some fabulous artwork.

I was very proud to be a part of this day. It’s wonderful what a group of people can achieve when they come together with a shared purpose that is born from love and compassion.
