My Story
how it all began
When I was a little girl, I started doodling fun illustrations inside birthday cards to make family and friends smile. Years later in adult life, I was craving the spark of joy that creativity brings and the warm glow you feel when you do something nice for someone. So I began doodling family portraits as gifts and soon realised that personalised artwork has the ability to make people feel loved and appreciated!
more about me
I have a PGCE in Art & Design from Manchester Metropolitan University, with experience delivering in primary and secondary schools. I have worked with a variety of community groups and arts organisations. In my spare time, I can be found enjoying the simple things in life; exploring a National Trust property, taking a long walk in nature or enjoying a cup of tea and large slice of cake.
Fun Facts About Me.
I previously worked as a TV production manager and worked on the ghost show ‘Most Haunted’.
I love walking and the Lake District is one of my absolute favourite places in the world.
I have Alopecia (no hair whatsoever) so I can often be found wearing a fabulous wig or working out in my local gym rocking a bald head.
I have a cat called Ron, named after the Harry Potter character Ron Weasley.
I LOVE indulging in afternoon tea, which is where the name ‘Teacup Doodles’
originates as I adore pretty Teacups.I’m a sucker for a National Trust property (and a tea room obviously!)
I work part time for a Carnival Arts Organisation supporting community arts programmes.
